Styling Your favorite pair of Jeans/ Denim

Denim jeans have been the de facto fashion statement worldwide. Earlier, the cowboys and miners wore sturdy jeans to beat the weather and the nature of their jobs. Jacob W. Davis and Levi Strauss invented the blue jeans, making them a staple for the contemporary wardrobe. Dungaree, a cheap and coarse thick cotton cloth, was worn by impoverished people in Dongri village, Bombay (India). The English took the fabric offshore, and the modern-day "Dungaree" came into being.

Jeans have metamorphosed over time. They've gone from bell bottoms and baggy jeans to figure-hugging ones with faded, stone-washed, or ripped appearances. They've managed to bridge the gap between the homeless and the privileged, who wear equally torn clothes.

We all are hit by the "Jeans fashion bug," putting us into a dilemma of styling our favorite pair.

Here are some suggestions to style your fashion statement - Jeans/Denim:-

  1. Cargo jeans

Characterized by pouchy pockets and a relaxed silhouette, these utilitarian cargo jeans are back in style. The street-style cargo jeans are the epitome of comfort and the much-needed laid-back look. The trouser-like, wide-leg cargo jeans paired with a cinched-in corset blouse, comfy sneakers, and simple silver jewelry give you a trendy look. Styling a pair of roomy cargo jeans in a Going-out version with a cropped shirt, pair of classy heels, and a little make-up is sure to rock your world at a cocktail party. Jazz up the outfit with a white tee and an oversized jacket, and complete the look with pointed-toe heels and a textured clutch. To beat the chill, style the cargo with an olive green tank top and a striped sweater and move with the ease of the wind.

  1. Bootcut Jeans

Another comfort-bound outfit perfect for an hourglass figure, Bootcut jeans have a subtle flare beginning at the knees while closely fitting through the thighs. For a petite frame to have a taller appearance, try pairing the jeans with a short top and a cropped jacket ending just above the waistline. Not only do bootcut jeans look great with boots, but they also pair well with sneakers, high-heeled shoes, and stylish flats. For a special romantic evening, pair the bootcut jeans with a short sleeve, round, or V-neck flowy top fabricated in silk, lace, cotton, or linen. To have a business casual look, team it up with a t-shirt, blazer, or jacket. On a frosty day, throw a long coat over a cropped sweater and walk in style.

  1. MOM jeans

Mom jeans are high-waist jeans (above the belly button) and loose around the thighs with a tapered fit. They make a perfect pair for a rectangular or pear-shaped figure with loose fitting around the legs. Considering the comfort, they were earlier worn by "mothers," hence the name. But the fashion world has turned the wheels for this outfit. To achieve a trendy look, wear an oversized white t-shirt with colorful knitwear, preferably tucked in to flaunt your style. Complete the ensemble with trainers or ankle boots and roll the hems to have a chic look.

  1. Boyfriend Jeans

Boyfriend jeans are slouchy denim pants that fit loosely low on the waist and have a baggy silhouette. It was designed to give a jazzy look in borrowed, worn-out jeans from the boyfriend. Classic boyfriend jeans are similar to straight-leg jeans adding versatility to the wardrobe. According to the length of your torso, pair up high-waisted boyfriend jeans with a fitted crop top (preferably a ribbed knit turtleneck) and low-waisted jeans with a longer button-down shirt or a cardigan. Wear dark or black shade jeans for a skinny appearance, while lighter shades draw attention to your outfit. Experiment with rolling the cuff of the jeans to suit your style, completing the look with a pair of ankle boots, platform shoes, high heels, or sleek block-heeled boots. Try teaming your favorite boyfriend jeans with a tucked-in button-up top, a baggy jacket, strappy heels, and a decorative belt to have a classic formal look.

  1. Skinny Jeans

Fashion influencers have certainly worked on the ways to wear skinny jeans, despite being a little out of trend. But people generally overlook the way they style their skinny jeans. Walk in an elegant casual outfit and crop the jeans above the ankles. A simple classic off-duty style pairs up a crop top with high-waisted skinny jeans and complements the look with matching heels. Wear dark-wash skinny jeans with an oversized blazer, boots, and a trendy bag to form the elements for impeccable styling. Low-waisted skinny jeans that flare at the bottom can be teamed with a dainty top showing a little mid-riff skin. Sport the look with a pair of silver heels and a mini shoulder bag. Cropped white skinny jeans are ethereal when paired with a cute prairie top and stylish heels. For a rockstar look, pair the skinny blue jeans with an oversized leather jacket and leather boots.

  1. Flared or Bell-bottom jeans

The bell-bottom jeans have resurfaced as a wardrobe staple in the fashion industry for Fall. The bell-bottom jeans, which fit snugly around the thigh and then flare out widely from the knee down, are a versatile piece of clothing in your wardrobe. Pair them with cowboy boots and a smiley face bag for a casual look. If you're looking to dress them up, an open button-down shirt is always a good option. Working on the color scheme of the denim, you can elevate the look of the bel-bottom jeans. A subtle tie-dye shirt paired with flared jeans gives a 70's theme party look.
